You can drop off items on the south side of our building Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’re closed Sunday. Normal business hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
We take clothing in any condition, as long as it’s not wet, smoky or full of pet hair. Clothing deemed not suitable for our marketplace is sold for rags, with proceeds benefiting NKC.
We will take washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators but only if they work. We request a copy of your driver’s license when you drop it off. If the item does not work, you will be asked to pick it up or you will be billed.
We do not take any TVs. It costs us $.25/pound (about $25 per TV set) to dispose of each TV set.
Unfortunately, we do not. Thank you for understanding.
If you are a current client and would like a referral during business hours, simply call our main line and ask for a food referral. After hours, call (616) 866-3478 ext. 344 and leave a message, including your full name and phone number.
We will be opening our Clothing Marketplace as a Thrift Store beginning on Friday, August 4. Current clients of NKC will be eligible to participate in the V.I.P. Plan.
NKC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, funded by individuals, businesses, churches and civic groups in our community.
